The Natalia Twersky Educator Award

AdDressing Women's Lives 2008 In the spring of 2012, JWA will recognize the educator who makes the most creative use of resources on jwa.org with the first Natalia Twersky Educator Award. The winner will receive a cash prize and an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City, where the award will be presented on March 18th. The prize honors the memory of Natalia Twersky, mother of JWA Executive Director Gail Twersky Reimer.

JWA Selected for Community Action Partners Program

CAP program meeting Community Action Partners (CAP), an affiliate of the Harvard Business School Association of Boston, has selected JWA to participate in its 2011-12 program. A team of CAP volunteers will be working with JWA to study the potential of developing self-service tools needed for users to digitize their personal documents—including letters, clippings and photos—and store them on jwa.org. We are looking for people to be interviewed about their own collections. Interested?
